Frequently Asked Questions
ISVPS
Are the ISVPS examination fees included in the IVE Australia programs?
ISVPS registration and examination fees are not required as an upfront commitment in the our accredited programs. This means they are not included in your program payment to IVE, apart from the Foundation Certificate programs*.
ISVPS will reach out directly to all IVE program candidates, once they are studying with IVE to explain the benefits of their Certifications and their registration, payment and assessment processes. You can then decide during your program studies when to register with ISVPS and go on to achieve the postgraduate qualifications. Registration is highly encouraged but is optional.
If I complete an Improve Veterinary Education program, do I automatically gain an ISVPS Certificate?
No - completing an accredited IVE program will not provide you with the ISVPS postgraduate qualification. You will receive the IVE Certificate of Completion at the full completion of any of our programs.
To achieve the associated ISVPS postgraduate qualification, you need to fulfill all the ISVPS requirements, including completion of an accredited IVE program, registration with ISVPS and payment of their fees and completion of the full assessment and examination processes for the ISVPS qualification.
Who are the International School of Veterinary Postgraduate Studies (ISVPS)?
The International School of Veterinary Postgraduate Studies (ISVPS) are the awarding and examining body for the suite of postgraduate qualifications for the veterinary profession.
They are responsible accrediting our Improve Veterinary Education programs, as suitable training for the ISVPS certifications. For more information on the ISVPS see here (page link). All qualification communications, assessments and examinations are the responsibility of ISVPS, as the awarding body and not IVE Australia.
